Mount Sinai

Mount Sinai is one of the most sacred places in the Bible and a central location in the story of God's covenant with His people. According to the Book of Exodus, it was on this mountain that God descended in fire and cloud to speak directly to Moses and give him the Ten Commandments. The events that took place at Mount Sinai form one of the most powerful moments in biblical history. They not only shaped the identity of Israel but laid the foundation for much of Christian understanding of divine law, worship, and moral life.
